Who are the friends of Maylandsea Primary School?
We are a small group of parents who meet every 4-6 weeks. Our aim is to raise funds purely for the benefit of the school and the children.
We organise discos, the annual inflatable afternoon, Christmas Market, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls and cake stalls among other events through the year.
In past years, we have raised money for shelters outside reception and Year 1 classrooms, play equipment in the field and playground, sports kit for use when the children attend sporting events, lots of books! More recently we have raised money to purchase equipment for the sensory room.
