WALT: Write instructions
To make your writing extremely creative today, you are going to refer back to your work from yesterday to help you write a recipe with the heading:
How to Bake a Mummified Ancient Egyptian Cake.
Watch the clip which explains how to do this – no actual baking or eating of mummies required!
Remember to include: subheadings, colons, bullet points, imperative verbs, a range of exciting sentences, ‘show off’ words, humour and gore.
You can illustrate your instructions too if you wish.
