Enjoy and Achieve

Welcome

Maths

Wednesday

WALT: use measuring equipment to make follow a recipe.

This week we have been looking at reading scales and the amount of ingredients needed to make food.

Today, you will be using recipes to make food or cakes.  This will require you to be able to measure out ingredients accurately to be able to make the amount of mixture for your cakes.

You can make whatever you choose however I have put links to recipes for cupcakes, Chocolate Fudge Cake and Victoria Sponge below should you choose to use them.

Cupcakes: http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/587/easy-kids-cupcakes.aspx.

Chocolate Fudge Cake: https://www.cookingwithmykids.co.uk/chocolate-fudge-cake/.

Victoria Sponge: https://www.netmums.com/recipes/victoria-sponge-cake-for-kids.

Enjoy and take lots of pictures!

FOR THOSE IN SCHOOL

Unfortunately, for those of you in school, it will not be possible to bake as you will neither have the resources nor the ingredients to do it.  As a result, I have found some interactive measuring games for you to play as well as TTRS which you can use.  The following links will take you to the games:
