WALT: make an Anglo-Saxon settlement.
In our Topic work this week, we are going to look at how Anglo-Saxon settlements and villages were made-up. You will watch 2 videos and read some information before using your DT knowledge to make a mini-settlement.
Please watch these 2 BBC clips: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/znjqxnb and https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/z36tsbk
You do not need to write anything in this lesson however please take pictures of your DT work. In Resources, you will find a powerpoint as well as some labels to help you know what should be included. As well as using household items to create a settlement, you may use drawings as well if you are struggling for items. There is also a file with parts of the village that you could cut out and use.
This is hopefully a fun, creative activity so please enjoy!
