Today we will carry on thinking about our emotions and we will play a game together. You will need a pencil and paper/ pen or whiteboard 

Also if you have anything exciting to tell us or show us, please have this ready too.

Something to write with


 WALT count to 50

Warm up your brain playing fruit splat. You have to read the number word and find the fruit with that number on it. Choose numbers 1-20 and I suggest starting with relaxed mode and slow fruit.


We are continuing following the white rose videos.

You will need the 2nd video today.

Follow along and complete the worksheet when asked to.

WALA traditional nursery rhymes.

1. Warm up by moving and exercising when 2 words rhyme.


2. Open the Powerpoint (found underneath today’s work). Enjoy the nursery rhymes and complete the challenges.

WALT read the split digraph e-e

Watch the video and then try to play the fly swat game. Write down some split e-e words

Get someone to say the word and you have to splat it as fast as you can. Then say that word in a sentence.

You can use these words or think of your own.

Look for a book on Bug Club, read it and answer all the bug questions, get a dojo point for reading on Bugclub.

Walt: try out Chinese writing

This week we would like you to experiment with some Chinese writing. First watch the video to find out the numbers to 10 in mandarin.

Then try to write them yourself. There is a helpful sheet in resources.

For an extra Challenge try to write your name. You can hear and write your name in Mandarin. If you use Google translate.

Use a red pen to copy your name because it is a lucky colour in China.
